Euston Euphoria
Digital collage, public mural, council commission Euston Station London
2022
This mural was inspired by workshops held with group of young people from the Fitzrovia Youth in Action group.
A series of workshops, arranged by students from the University of the Arts London, were held to explore ideas around what Euston and the local area means to its residents and to passing commuters alike.
The design has movement and blurring to imitate viewing Euston from a moving vehicle or while walking through. Using a watercolour effect, images are blended into each other to represent the fluidity and diversity of the community. The rainbow colours promote the inclusion and togetherness seen in the local, multicultural community, while also making strong links to Pride and the NHS.
