'PORTALS, at ROSL Arts group exhibition of 13 artists who graduated from UK art schools 2024, spanning painting, sculpture, print and installation.

'PORTALS' is an exhibition about introspection, how artists let us into their world through depictions of memory, familial relations, and archiving the everyday. Exploring a quietude within these moments of self-reflection, these artworks act as portals into understandings of the human condition beyond their physical surfaces.

Beyond merely just an understanding of the self, many of the works and practices on display ask us to re-determine how we perceive ourselves in relation to others. Through this, visual conversations around intimacy, longing, and the complexities of human relationships emerge from an intertwining of everyday reality and speculative worldbuilding.
